Most problems come from the browser you open it in, not the game. Work down this list and you'll usually be back in within a minute.
Fix it in this order
- Open it in Chrome or Safari. If you tapped a link inside TikTok, X, Instagram or WhatsApp, you're in their built-in browser. Copy the link and open it in a real browser. This fixes most problems.
- Reload, then close and reopen the tab.
- Check your phone. iPhones need iOS 16.4 or newer.
- Switch networks. Try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, or the other way round. A slow connection can fail just like a dead one.
- Close other heavy apps and tabs. Downloads and video streaming can starve the game.
- Don't leave it running in the background. Close the game when you're done and reopen it fresh.
- If you can log in but the map is broken, clear the site data for the game in your browser settings and log in again.
- Try again later. At peak times the servers get busy, so a quieter hour often works.
Login errors

Forgot your password?
Use "Email me a reset link" on the login screen. If you never added an email, players report the login screen points you to the creator, @Shalom_HeyEliy, on X. Send your username only. Never share your password with anyone.
Is the game down?
If you see the game's "NEPA" screen, your browser can't reach the server. That's either your connection or the game itself. Check the official accounts, @LagosLifeApp and @Shalom_HeyEliy on X, for outage news. Our news page shows their latest posts.
Don't fall for "fixes"
There's no official app or APK, and nobody can "repair" your account for a fee. Anyone asking for your password or money to fix the game is a scammer. Play only at lagoslife.app. More in our scams and safety guide.
