Which business to buy first
Your salary keeps you alive. Businesses make you rich. Each one pays out every evening at 6 p.m. after running costs.
Prices and payback
| Business | Price | Payouts to earn it back |
|---|---|---|
| Recharge & Data Kiosk | ₦150,000 | about 97 |
| POS Stand | ₦500,000 | about 97 |
| Buka (Mama Put) | ₦2.5M | about 110 |
| Car Wash | ₦15M | about 131 |
| Event Centre | ₦60M | about 162 |
| Quilox Share (5%) | ₦250M | about 189 |
A kiosk earns back its price in roughly half the payouts a Quilox share needs.
These figures are player-reported, not official. The game is patched often, so treat them as a starting point.
How to think about it
- The cheap ones pay back fastest. A kiosk or POS stand earns its price back in the fewest payouts. Start there.
- Bigger isn't faster. Larger businesses earn more per day but take longer to pay for themselves.
- Every business has bad days that lose money, so keep a cash cushion.
- Selling returns only about 60% of what you paid. Never spend your last naira, and never your rent money.
What about land?
Plots rise in value each week, but slowly. Players warn that cheap plots carry a real chance of omo-onile turning up to demand a cut. Very Lagos.
