About Gidi Guide

What this site is

Gidi Guide is a fan-made guide to Lagos Life. We explain how the game works, from starting lives and jobs to businesses, tax and the governor election, in plain English, so new players spend less time confused and more time playing.

What this site isn't

We're not the game and we're not connected to its developer, Shalom Rayhamen, or her studio Eliy. We don't sell game money or accounts, and we'll never ask for your game login or payment details.

Where the information comes from

Our figures come from news coverage and from guides compiled by players. The developer hasn't published official numbers, so we mark player-reported figures clearly and list our sources at the bottom of every page. The game is updated often, so if something on your screen differs from ours, trust your screen and tell us.

How it stays up to date

We check for game news every day and update the guides when something changes. Each page shows when it was last updated.

How the site is paid for

The guide is free to read. We may show adverts to cover running costs. Adverts never change what we write.
