Your first week, step by step
Most new players go broke from nightlife, not because the game is hard. Do these in order.
Open it in a real browser
Use Chrome or Safari, not the browser inside TikTok, X or Instagram. That causes most "it won't load" problems. iPhones need iOS 16.4 or later.
Make a free account
The game's terms say you must be 18 or older. There's nothing to download.
Check the life you were given
Look at your cash, home and any loan before you spend anything.
Take a job on day one
Banking needs no skill and reportedly pays about ₦11,600 a shift at level 1. Finish every shift, because leaving early cuts your pay.
Train your career's skill
Promotions depend on it, and level 5 jobs pay many times more than level 1.
Set rent aside first
Rent is weekly, and players report it falls due on Saturday. Eat cheap at Amala Shitta, where meals reportedly start from ₦100.

Three things every new player should know
Millions of new players attract scammers fast. These rules keep you safe.
There's no app to download
Lagos Life runs in your browser. It isn't on Google Play or the App Store, so any "Lagos Life APK" is suspect.
Game money isn't real money
In-game naira can't be withdrawn or cashed out. Anyone buying or selling it is scamming you.
Ignore Lagos Life tokens
Crypto tokens using the name have no link to the game's developer. Read the full safety guide.
Play with other players
Ask questions, share tips and get updates when the game changes.
